MEMORY VERSE: 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God”

The things of the Spirit can be taught because the realm of the Spirit is not ambiguous; it is a very real realm. It’s a realm that answers to cause and effect. We will be looking at the things that are of the realm of the Spirit and how to cause them to begin to manifest in your life. It is important for us to know how the realm of the Spirit works and we are going to examine scriptures to understand it properly.

Acts 1:8 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” It is important to know that the power of God is not something you earn or pay a price for. You do not earn the power of God, it is a gift. When you understand this, you will be able to properly experience and activate it. When the Holy Ghost comes into your life, power comes into your life. Let us also examine Acts 2:38 “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” the Holy Spirit is a gift that is freely given based on grace and grace alone. You don’t need to pray and fast to cast out demons, they come out by the name of Jesus. As a believer, you are a king over Satan.

Many Christians are living ordinary lives when they have dynamite inside of them. Some Christians are always looking back at the days when there was revival but the bible tells us that “the glory of the latter shall surpass the former” the power of God is still available, it has not decreased; the blood of Jesus is still potent. We need to understand that as believers, this power is inside of us; you are not about to receive it, you have already received it. What the devil does is that he tries to short circuit the power by making sure we don’t listen to the right teaching or he tries to keep us away from the right words.

1 Corinthians 12:1-7 “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.  Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.  Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.  And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.  And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal”  the above scripture tells us that if you declare that Jesus is Lord, you have the Spirit. Verse 4 tell us that there are diversities of gifts (different kinds) but the same Spirit meaning that your eyes should be focused on the Holy Spirit and not just the gifts. We also see that the manifestation of the Spirit has been given to every man (i.e no man is left out). What we do in church is to unveil you to you; showing you what you have been given and what you have received because you are in Christ. One of the things you have been given is the manifestation of the Spirit for the collective good of everyone. Remember that the gift of God is already in you. Acknowledge it and put it to work today.

CONFESSION: I am a child of God, I have been given the Holy Spirit freely; I have the power of God in me, the power of God is active in me and I demonstrate His power every day.
