Memory verse: 2 Corinthians 5:17-19 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation”

Who is a Christian? He is simply the man or woman in Christ. He or she has identified with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ .

The man in Christ is a citizen of heaven now!

Philippians 3:20 “For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus”.

Conversation here doesn’t mean discussion. It is from the Greek word “politeuma” which means citizenship. The believer is a citizen of heaven. He is a member of the heavenly ruling class. This is who he is.

The Christian is a saint. He is not to aspire to sainthood . He is a saint right now. He is in Christ.

Hebrews 6:10 “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister”.

The believer is called a saint.

Romans 15:25 “But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints”

Saints are those who who have believed on Jesus.

They are the washed ones. The sanctified ones.

1 Corinthians 6:11 “And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our Lord”.

We are the washed ones .It we are washed then we are clean. If we are clean then we are spotless and unreproachable.

We are sanctified because he is our sanctification

1 Corinthians 1:30 “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord”.

He is our everything.

As he is, so are we.

The Christian is righteous eternally.

He is forgiven eternally.

He is in Christ.

Christ is the believers everything.

So in Christ we have peace with God. In Christ all our needs are abundantly supplied. We are enriched in all things by Him.

He lives in us. We live in Him.

This is not a religion.

This is Reality!

CONFESSION: God is my everything! He is my source, in Him I live, I move, I find my purpose. Hallelujah!
