CONFESSIONS OF FAITH
MEMORY VERSE: Mark 11:23-24 “For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them”
Words are extremely powerful, words are spiritual, words are forces. Words can carry positive or negative energy. The scriptures declare in Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof” which means that you can access the negative and destructive forces of death through your tongue and at the same time, you can access the positive forces of life through your tongue. Now when we talk about faith confession for the Christian, it is important to realize one thing. Faith confessions is actually the mechanism to release all that God has made available to us in Christ into the physical realm. You will not be able to experience any of the spiritual blessings in Christ until you have released words for it. Your words of faith are the vessels that give expression to all of the invisible blessings of God that are heavenly realities on earth.
There are many believers who do not realize this truth. They know that they are seated with Christ in heavenly places, they know that the power of God is at work within them, they know that they are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus but the issue is that they hardly devote time to saying it because they do not understand the importance of words. When we examine scriptures about who the Christian is, we find that he is a divine master piece, he is not a normal human being. He is full of faith and power, full of the Holy Ghost and all of the forces of creation, all of the power of the Almighty God resides inside him. This is who the Christian is but when we look at Christians today in the natural, it is not immediately evident that he is all these things. Instead of strength, we see weakness; instead of health, we see sickness; instead of abundance, we see lack; instead of righteousness, we see sin consciousness. Confessing God’s word is a means to bring into the Christian’s experience what is already his reality. Faith confession brings into the believers’ senses what is already true in the realm of the spirit. So when you declare that you are healed, you are prosperous, you are righteous, you are full of power, you give authority, you give expression to what is already true of you in the spirit. The moment the words enter into the atmosphere, enter into the earth realm, everything physical, everything in the realm of matter gravitates towards that word. Confessing the word of God is releasing the Lordship of Jesus into your life and experience.
CONFESSION: My tongue is a pen. I write a glorious future with my pen. I declare I move upwards only and never downwards. I declare I am above only and never beneath. Amen
