IN HIM REALITIES 5
Memory Verse: Hebrews 13:15 “ By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name”
We are to say what he has said about us.
We are to identify with him in our confessions.
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Hebrews 13:5-6
WHEN we say what the word says we are in him, we can never be wrong.
We must never confess a lack of wisdom or a need for it. He has become our wisdom!
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption 1 Corinthians 1:30
Wisdom is not a philosophy. Wisdom is a person. The name of wisdom is JESUS. He is our wisdom. He is our insight into unseen realities. So we must declare that we have wisdom. He is the wisdom we possess.
We must never confess confusion. Christ is our light.
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12
He is the light released in Genesis 1:3 when God said “light be”.
He is the light that shone in our darkness when we received the gospel.
We were blind, now we see! We see with the light of Christ. The light of life.
This is our confession.
We are not sinners.
We are the righteousness of God.
“For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ” Romans 5:17
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him 2 Corinthians 5:21
We are sanctified.
Holy ones.
He is our washing.
He is our sanctification.
We are as clean as he is.
He is our cleansing!
“And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God”. 1 Corinthians 6:11
“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost” Titus 3:5
So ensure you confess THE WORD.
All he is, you are because you are in him!
CONFESSION: I make a practice of confessing what the word of God says about me. I am sanctified and live a sanctified life. I am holy, I live a holy live. Christ is the light with which I see. I do not walk in darkness.
