Metamorphosis

There are many believers who function from the place of victims. This occurs because they run with a faulty revelation. When a man’s revelation is faulty, he will have confusing experiences.

The truth is Jesus Christ came to give us an authority that is mind bugling the canal mind cannot understand the ambit of this great authority bestowed on us in Christ Jesus.

In John 14:2  “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you”.

This tells us that at the time when He said this, the place He spoke of wasn’t prepared. Many have misconstrued this statement to mean that construction work in terms of palacial mansions were been prepared for every believer the moment he gets saved. However, this is not what Jesus meant.

Jesus said in my father’s house (Oikia) there are many mansions (Topos). Now the question is where is the father’s house?

In the same chapter of John 14:6 “Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh to the father but by me”

In John 14:10 “Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, He doeth the works”

Which means the father dwells in Jesus. The father’s house is Christ. At the time when Jesus was speaking in John 14, there was no room created in Christ for fallen men however, by his death, burial, resurrection, ascension and glorification, he has made room for us in himself. Therefore as believers, we are seated with Christ far above all principalities and powers. We are seated at the right hand of God. Note that we are not seated at the right hand side of God but the right hand. The right hand of God speaks of the highest position of authority and power. What this means is that the believer has access to the same authority that Jesus was bequeathed with at the resurrection, it also means that the believer has access to the power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead. This is who the Christian is, this is what he has access to. It is incomprehensible for this man in Christ to ever be perceived as a victim, a weakling or an invalid. Too much has been invested in him. He has more than he will ever need to put him over in every sphere of life. The issue has always been that though the Christian is all this and more, he doesn’t know it. Revelation determines speed. How fast and far you go is a function of the revelation you’re running with.

This is why Paul prayed for the believers at Ephesus 1: 17 “cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers” that they may know! Know what? Know who they are in Christ and what Christ has accomplished in them.

So dear believer, you are seated with Christ far above all principalities and powers, all rule and dominion. Every name that is named is under your authority. Every being created in all three worlds is under your feet. So go ahead and enforce your right and privileges in Christ. You’re not a victim, you’re a victor.
