The unveiling of the spirit has been given to every man in Christ. It has been given for every man to receive. Let me use an analogy to buttress this point.

When a man is born again, he receives the life of God into him. Now There is no difference between the life of God and the spirit of God. Inasmuch as there isn’t a difference between the life of a man and the spirit of man. The spirit of a man gives his body life.

James 2:26 “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”

Romans 8:9 “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.”

So the life of the believer is the spirit of God.

The spirit is his quickener and sustainer.

Romans 8:10 “And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in him.”

So this means that the moment a man is born again he has been given the unveiling of the spirit. All the qualities, abilities and character in the Holy spirit is available to him.

Now what are the contents of the manifestation of the spirit?

1 Corinthians 12:4-7 “Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.”

We have the ministry.

The gift.

The operations.

This have all been given in that one “the manifestation “to the believer.

So every man born again has been given the ability to speak in tongues. He already has it. Why? He has been given the manifestation of the spirit.

All that is needed is for him to be made aware that he has been given so he can receive by faith what has been given. The moment he receives by faith he now gets filled with the spirit.

When he eventually spoke in tongues wasn’t when God gave the ability. The ability was given the moment he got born again. He began to speak in tongues the moment he discovered it. As times goes on and more light comes he will walk in more because he will discover he has more in that manifestation.

The more he knows he has, the more he desires and as he desires and prays he receives what he has been given and walks in it. Glory to God!

1 Corinthians 12:31 “But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.”
