IT IS TIME FOR SIGNS AND WONDERS 2
MEMORY VERSE: Acts 4:30 “By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus”
Christianity is neither logical nor natural in any shape or form. It is supernatural. It is the invasion of the earth realm by divinity. A man born again is not a natural phenomenon; he is born by the agency of the word of God and the Holy Spirit. He is actually a miracle manifested. A man born again carries the force of creation in him, the power that created the heavens and the earth, all we see and cannot see is resident in the Christian. Therefore the believer should experience a life full of signs and wonders. Any Christianity that is devoid of the miraculous is fake. Our God is a God of the miraculous.
All through the scriptures, we see Him showing Himself as a God to whom nothing is impossible. For the Israelites, He parted the red sea by the power of His Spirit; He caused the earth to stop moving round the sun for Joshua; we see Him raise the dead through Elijah; when the word of God became manifest in flesh, we see miracles and miracles that staggered the mind. He healed many, cured lepers, raised the dead, walked on water. Every single thing about him was miraculous; his death was a miracle, his resurrection was an even greater miracle.
Of all the signs and wonders wrought by the Almighty God, nothing is greater than the one Jesus wrought after his redemptive work. This was greater than creation, greater than parting the red sea, greater than walking on water, greater than controlling the weather, greater than raising the dead; the greatest of all was that man now had the capacity to be a temple of the Almighty God. Man was now born of God and indwelt by God.
So as a believer, desire to work miracles, desire to see the miraculous in all that you do. Attempt great things for God, believe the impossible, do the unthinkable. The greatest power in the whole universe is resident inside you now! To you, nothing is impossible.
CONFESSION: I am for signs and wonders, I give myself to the miraculous, I get miraculous results in all I do. Amen
